eMaint AI Suite Is Live, but Only on Enterprise
eMaint’s AI Suite is now generally available, but only on the Enterprise plan. That includes the voice work request a gloved tech would actually use. eMaint posts no Enterprise price.
The notice is dated Oct. 31, 2026. It is on eMaint’s customer portal. The suite has three parts: an AI Assistant for your documents and data, an SOP Builder, and Mobile Voice to Work Order Request.
Three gates before anyone can use it
- You need an Enterprise license. The notice says production AI requires an Enterprise account. The pricing page marks “Access to eMaint AI Suite” as Not included on Professional.
- It is off until you ask. AI is disabled by default. eMaint turns it on per account, at your request. The notice says to contact your Customer Success Manager or eMaint Support.
- An admin must accept the AI Addendum. Until then, nobody in the account can use the AI. Other features keep working.
What voice does for a tech
A tech taps a microphone and says something like “Fan motor on compressor #5 is making a loud noise, set priority two.” The app fills in the work request. The tech checks it on a review screen, then submits. It still goes through normal review and approval.
The 4.16.0 mobile notes list the limits:
- It needs a network. It does not work offline.
- Background noise and strong accents can lower accuracy.
- Recordings are aimed at 30 seconds.
- Typing the request is still an option.
Those are eMaint’s own notes. We did not test the app. The notes also say eMaint “aims” to cut request time by about 30%. They show no measurement, so treat it as a goal.
The Professional plan already includes the mobile app with offline mode. That is a different thing from voice. A shop on Professional keeps the app and does not get the suite.
What a 10-tech crew would pay: unknown
Here is what the pricing page shows. Professional has a 3-user minimum. Enterprise has a 5-user minimum. Both plans are a prepaid annual commitment. The page contains no dollar amount, so a crew of 10 clears the Enterprise minimum and still can’t see a price.
We won’t guess one. The Enterprise card also lists “Volume-Based Licensing Incentives,” with no rate attached. The page says the price will not rise during your contract term, but may change at renewal.
Crews under 5 users do not meet the published Enterprise minimum. The pricing FAQ says eMaint sells some features a la carte. It does not say the AI Suite is one of them. Ask in writing.
If your plant is validated
Food and pharma plants that validate their system should read this line first. The Q4 release post says AI features are not currently validated under Computer Systems Validation (CSV) services. It says the suite is available “for non-validated customers only.” Oct. 31 does not change that for you.
What the addendum asks of you
The AI Features Addendum puts the checking on you. A qualified person must review AI output before you rely on it, and that includes maintenance procedures and safety steps. Where audio is recorded, you must get and keep the user consents the law requires. The addendum also excludes AI features from uptime guarantees and service credits.
Not a new owner
Fluke bought eMaint in 2016. This is a product launch, not a sale.
What to ask before you pay
- The Enterprise price for your user count, in writing.
- Whether the AI Suite is a separate line item.
- What happens to that price at renewal.
- Whether voice, SOP Builder and the assistant all turn on together.
