How we make money (disclosure)

CMMS Brief is free to read. We earn money in three ways:

1. Referral and affiliate programmes. Some CMMS vendors pay us a fee if a reader buys after clicking our link. Pages that contain these links say so in a box at the top and name the vendors involved. These links are marked rel="sponsored".
2. Newsletter sponsorships. A sponsor may buy a clearly labelled slot in our weekly email.
3. Sponsored articles and featured listings. Always labelled “Sponsored” or “Featured” and kept visually separate from our own rankings.

What money can’t buy

• A position in any “best” list or a better verdict.
• Coverage, or a story being dropped.
• A preview of an article before publication.

Vendors that pay us are held to the same methodology as vendors that don’t. Where a page names a vendor that pays us, it says so.
